Are you the fastest 1 km paddler downwind?
Wednesday 25 November 2026, North Cottesloe Beach. Back to back 1 km downwind sprints off the sand. The bottom quarter of the field is cut at the end of every round, up to five rounds, and the last craft standing wins.
Prone boards away at 4:30pm, skis at 5:00pm. Race one or race both. Done by about 6:30pm.
Enter on Webscorer. $55 until Sunday 8 November, then $65 from Monday 9 November. Entries close Tuesday 24 November at 6:00pm and the field is capped at 150 paddlers.
The racing runs close in to shore and finishes on the sand in front of the club, so anyone who comes down to watch sees the actual racing instead of two dots on the horizon. Drones overhead, live commentary, and the balcony for spectators.
