It is Paddle Collective’s policy to respect your privacy and comply with any applicable law and regulation regarding any personal information we may collect about you, including across our website, paddlecollective.com.au, and other sites we own and operate, as well as through our bookings, events, and communications.

In which instance, we only collect personal information that is reasonably necessary to provide our services to you. Our primary purposes include facilitating safe and enjoyable ocean paddling experiences along the Western Australian coastline, managing bookings, and building our community.

  • Booking records: Retained for 7 years for legal and insurance purposes.

  • Marketing preferences: Until you unsubscribe or request deletion.

  • Our existing or potential agents or business partners (e.g., gear rental suppliers)

  • Sponsors or promoters of any competition, sweepstakes, or promotion we run

  • Courts, tribunals, regulatory authorities, and law enforcement officers, as required by law, in connection with any actual or prospective legal proceedings, or in order to establish, exercise, or defend our legal rights (e.g., WorkSafe WA for incident reporting)

  • Third parties to collect and process data (e.g., emergency services if needed during a session)

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

The personal information we collect is stored and/or processed where we or our partners, affiliates, and third-party providers maintain facilities, primarily in Australia. If data is transferred internationally (e.g., to cloud services in the US or EU), we ensure equivalent protections are in place, such as standard contractual clauses.
