Whether it's your first trip to the South West or your hundredth, the Down South Skates Paddle Camp promises an experience you'll never forget! Geographe Bay offers incredible downwind routes no matter the prevailing winds, where we guarantee thrilling rides tailored to the day's conditions. Look forward to a week of exhilarating paddling, great company, delicious food, and fine wines. Meet like-minded paddlers, unwind in paradise, and sharpen your skills with expert guidance. Whether your early in your Downwind Paddling journey or well on your way, we have a knack for making everyone feel welcome. This camp is designed and located in an area where we can make everyone feel safe, challenged and longing for more Down South Skates. What’s included: • Custom Downwind Paddles: Routes handpicked for the day's conditions, showcasing the breathtaking southern coastline. • Australia's Top On-Water Coaching: Elite instruction in single skis, plus the chance to paddle and train in doubles with the country's best. • Technique Sessions: Personalized video analysis to refine your stroke and accelerate your progress. • Surf Skis Provided: A full fleet of single and double skis, ranging from stable beginner-friendly to high-performance options. • Seamless Logistics: All transport and downwind shuttles handled. • Fuel for the Fun: Healthy paddling snacks plus one nourishing meal daily (often a post-paddle lunch, or sunset drinks and nibbles after afternoon sessions). • Off-Water Adventures: Group transport to iconic wineries, trails, beaches, and local highlights. • Regional Dining Experiences: We'll book standout team dinners highlighting the South West's finest cuisine What you’ll need to organise: - Flights to Busselton or transport to the region - Hire or bring a car for independent exploration outside camp activities (highly recommended!) - Compulsory to bring your own PFD, leg leash, VHF radio and waterproof phone cover. Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy for Paddle Travel Holidays We understand plans can change, and we aim to balance flexibility with our commitments to suppliers, guides, venues, and participants. This policy applies to all multi-day paddle travel holidays (e.g., camps, retreats, expeditions) booked through Paddle Collective. Cancellations by Customers Requests must be made in writing to admin@paddlecollective.com.au. The cancellation date is when we receive your notice. Refunds are based on the total trip cost paid: More than 180 days before departure: Full refund minus $250 non-refundable admin fee. 90–180 days before departure: 75% refund. 60–89 days before departure: 50% refund. 30–59 days before departure: 25% refund (or full credit for a future Paddle Collective trip, if available). Less than 30 days before departure (or no-show): No refund or credit. Alternative Options We may allow a transfer to another participant (subject to approval) or issue a credit voucher for a future Paddle Collective holiday (valid 12–24 months). Non-Refundable Components Some elements (e.g., flights, permits, accommodations) may be non-refundable per third-party policies. These are noted in your booking confirmation, and refunds exclude non-recoverable costs. Cancellations by Paddle Collective If we cancel (e.g., due to insufficient numbers, safety issues, or unforeseen circumstances), you will receive a full refund of payments made, or you may choose a transfer/credit to a future trip. We will notify you promptly. Force Majeure Paddle Collective is not liable for changes due to events beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, severe weather, government restrictions, pandemics). Refunds depend on third-party recoveries and may be partial or unavailable. We will minimize impact where possible. Travel Insurance We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation/interruption, medical/evacuation, and adventure activities (paddling/ocean sports). Insurance is not included in the trip price. Important Notes This policy does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). If a major service failure occurs, you may be entitled to a remedy regardless of this policy. All bookings are subject to our full Terms & Conditions.
